Humans of Nimbus: Ramli Bin Mohd Hussin
“God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers.”
At Nimbus, we believe that life's most challenging obstacles are given to those with the strength and resilience to overcome them. This is a philosophy that resonates deeply within our team, especially when we look at inspiring individuals like Ramli Bin Mohd Hussin.
Ramli's journey began in an orphanage at the tender age of 9. With no parents and limited financial resources, he started working as a toilet cleaner at 16, earning a modest salary of $380 a month. Despite these early challenges, Ramli's unwavering spirit propelled him forward. He committed himself to personal development, enrolling in leadership, people management, and safety training courses. His dedication and hard work paid off, leading him to become a team leader and supervisor.
The road through the cleaning industry was far from easy, but Ramli's perseverance never waned. He stayed committed to the industry that had given him so much, even in the face of adversity.
Now, with close to two decades of experience under his belt, Ramli is a vital member of our Nimbus team. He's instrumental in our mission to improve the working conditions and compensation for cleaners and those in the environmental sector. Ramli's role in advocating for outcome-based contracts in the private sector and better pay for cleaners is invaluable.
But Ramli is more than just a team member at Nimbus. He's a fighter, a warrior, and a dedicated family man with four children. His journey from adversity to success is a source of immense pride for all of us at Nimbus.
We invite you to learn more about the career opportunities at Nimbus and join us in our mission to #EmpowerOthers. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of many, just as we have in Ramli's.
